SANTA ANA A 30-year-old man charged with murdering a roommate in
Anaheim nearly two years ago was expected to make his initial court
appearance today.
Augustine Brady Godoy — who was initially arrested in July 2015 but not
charged then — was arrested Thursday, according to Orange County Jail
records.
The following day, Godoy was charged with murder, with a sentencing
enhancement for the personal use of a knife, for allegedly killing 27-year-old
Kamal Malouf on July 14, 2015.
Police responded to a call just after 6 p.m. the day of the killing of
an assault and battery in the 1400 block of West Park Avenue.
