UCLA update: Despite an off-night from quarterback Josh Rosen, the UCLA defense held off a late BYU comeback for a 17-14 Bruins victory. UCLA allowed just 23 rushing yards, the lowest yielded by the Bruins since 2008, while sacking BYU QB Taysom Hill four times. LB Jayon Brown had a standout game with nine tackles (seven solo), a sack, a tackle for loss and a forced fumble. … Rosen threw for 307 yards on 26-of-40 passing for two touchdowns and an interception.
