LOS ANGELES – Jedd Fisch frowned pensively at another attempt to put a label on his offense.
It’s not spread, it’s not power. It’s just offense, the 40-year-old coach insisted Thursday after UCLA’s second spring practice. It’s a label-less system with a simple goal: Move the ball.
“We kind of just run what I’m accustomed to running, what I’ve been around most of my career, or all of my career,” Fisch said in an understated manner. “Just kind of see what our guys do best and do that.”
Only two practices into his Bruin tenure, UCLA’s third offensive coordinator in three years still has much to learn about his new players.
