On Monday night, one of these teams will be a National Champion for the first time in the history of their program. Both Gonzaga and Baylor have never won a championship in their program history.
We’ll start with Gonzaga, who is looking to become the first undefeated National Champion since 1976. They’re coming off a thrilling and unforgettable victory over UCLA. This is Gonzaga’s second career title game appearance, as they lost their first in 2017 to North Carolina.
Up next is Baylor, who is playing in their second championship as well and their first since 1948.
