Tonight, the UCLA Men’s Basketball team opens the season against Georgia Tech in the Pac-12 China Game after what can only be called tumultuous week in China which saw three Bruin freshmen get arrested for shoplifting at a Louis Vuitton store across the street from where the team was staying.
As a result of that, the Bruins will be without Cody Riley, Jalen Hands and LiAngelo Ball. But that may not make a difference because Steve Alford traditionally hasn’t played more than seven players in a game over the past few seasons.
So, the team may not miss the trio in the game all that much.
