How FSU, Nebraska and others are recruiting to rebuild

This season's first edition of the Eliminator has, well, eliminated several high-profile programs from playoff contention after four weeks. So where do Florida State, USC and several others turn? To the recruiting trail, of course.

Willie Taggart's first full class in Tallahassee is currently ranked No. 9 with a list that includes 11 ESPN 300 commitments and 15 four-stars. Florida State went to the Tar Heel State for a signal-caller, beating out Clemson and others for Sam Howell. The Seminoles are loading up in the secondary with five four-stars headlined by cornerback Akeem Dent and one-time Alabama verbal Brendan Gant.
