Final: Washington State 31, UCLA 27

PASADENA - Before Saturday night, No. 18 UCLA had yet to lose a game when leading at halftime under Jim Mora.

It was 31-0 since the coach took over in 2012.

That changed, as the Bruins, who lead 16-14 at intermission, ended up falling to Washington State, 31-27, in front of an announced crowd of 76,255 at the Rose Bowl.

It seemed they would pull one out late. Freshman quarterback Josh Rosen scrambled for a 37-yard touchdown with 1:09 left in the game to put the Bruins (7-3, 4-3 in the Pac-12) ahead over the Cougars (6-4, 4-3).
