LOS ANGELES – A tick past midnight, the UCLA football team is just filing onto the buses after its 45-24 victory over Arizona on Oct. 1. Brake lights from postgame traffic still line the streets surrounding the Rose Bowl as fans trickle out of the parking lots into the night. The lights on the field flicker and turn off while workers continue to clean up the stadium’s benches, scattering trash with leaf blowers.
