Every UCLA batter had at least one hit as the second-ranked Bruins rolled to a 9-0 victory in the opener of a crucial Pac-12 series against ninth-ranked Arizona State on Friday night at Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
Chris Keck went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run and three runs scored and Brett Stephens went 3 for 5 with one RBI, a run scored and a stolen base. Kort Peterson went 2 for 5 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored, as the Bruins finished with 16 hits, many of the clutch variety on a night when they scored six of their nine runs with two outs.
