LOS ANGELES – Wednesday may be the UCLA basketball team’s best chance to measure itself against the defending national champions and No. 1 team in the country.
Western Michigan, the only common opponent this season for No. 1 Villanova and No. 2 UCLA, will be the Bruins’ final opponent before Pac-12 play.
The Broncos (3-7) gave undefeated Villanova a scare on Nov. 17, cutting a 14-point second-half lead to three before losing by 10 on a neutral floor.
UCLA (12-0) has yet to show signs of overlooking an opponent this season, but there is plenty on the horizon after Wednesday.
