One of the greatest individual seasons by an NBA player has just finished as Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder just lost game five in the first round of the NBA playoffs as they were taken down by the Houston Rockets.
Though Westbrook will not be moving on, his accomplishments this season will forever be engrained in NBA history.
This past 2016 -17 season, Westbrook broke several triple double records which included the most triple-doubles in a season with 42. The previous holder of that record was Oscar Robertson, who had 41 during the 1961-62 season.
