Former UCLA Bruin Norman Powell is entering his 11th season in the NBA. He will do so donning a new jersey of the Miami Heat. He was dealt to Miami this offseason after spending 3.5 productive years with the Los Angeles Clippers. Powell played a key role for the team mainly coming off the bench until last year where he started all 60 games he played
Powell put up respectable numbers averaging 17.4 points per game over 201 games. He did so on 48.4/42.1/81.6 shooting splits which are all above average for guards. The trade was seen by many as a puzzling one as the Clippers stacked up their bigs this offseason.
