McKennon, one of the county’s budding young stars, went 6-0 last week, sweeping his singles sets against Huntington Beach and Fountain Valley as the Sailors solidified their second-place standing in the Sunset League. McKennon, a five-star freshman recruit, improved his singles record to 15-0. He also has a 3-0 doubles record this season.
