Our seventh-ranked Bruins began their weekend series in Corvallis with a thorough demolition of the Beavers. The Bruins scored early and often, jumping out to a 5-0 lead after the first inning. Ally Carda cracked a two-run homer to left to open the scoring, and Gracie Goulder brought home two more when she knocked a single into right-center. Allexis Bennett drove in the Bruins' fifth and final run of the first inning when she reached on an infield single.
