Every year, the most important people in Southern California athletics are ranked according to their contributions in the ‘50 Most Powerful in SoCal Sports‘ list and like they do every year, several individuals associated with UCLA Athletics have made the list.

Author Clay Fowler had developed the list for the Orange County Register which is essentially a who’s who list of the most important sports figures in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
With UCLA being huge part of Southern California sports, it is no surpise that six people close to the University of Champions have made this list.
