UCLA Football Recruiting: 4-Star 2016 RB Target Changes Mind, Won't Make Decision Monday

Fontana (Ca.) Summit running back Damian Alloway said he no longer plans to announce a verbal commitment Monday evening, leaving the UCLA Bruins to wonder if they actually have him sewn up for their 2016 recruiting class.

Alloway was schedule to announce at 7 PM PST at the Athletic Republic in Rancho Cucamonga (Ca.), but he's now going to push back his decision timeline and survey all of his options.

"I'm going to visit some campuses in the spring and commit in the summer," Alloway said, via 247Sports.

Alloway has seven verbal offers already, with UCLA joining a Pac-12 rival in the race for the talented running back.

"Cal and UCLA are neck-to-neck," Alloway said. "I'm still wide open. I want to visit Cal, UCLA, Oregon and Notre Dame."

The four-star recruit is currently ranked as the nation's No. 1 all-purpose running back and the No. 19 prospect in California in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports.
