As I write about all of the high school football players who are fortunate to have the physically gifted blessings of being bigger, faster and stronger than most others, I’m still constantly reminded of those who aren’t so fortunate.
For every football player who commits to FSU or Florida or Alabama or Notre Dame, as Bishop Moore’s Jonathon MacCollister and Winter Park’s Jordan Pouncey did this past weekend, there are tons of other players who wonder what will become of them. They certainly have the talent, but they may not have the size or speed or strength as the guys with all of the recruiting stars attached to their names.
