The waves of exhaustion beat on senior linebacker Domenic Spencer as he sat on a long and brutal 3 a.m. flight from California back to Orlando Sunday.
But even after yet another frustrating loss — this one a 31-7 defeat at Stanford that also cost the team its starting quarterback — Spencer couldn't sleep. Instead, he sat next to new safeties coach Andrew Thacker breaking down game film.
". . . It's a five-hour flight, [so I was] looking at corrections and trying to see how we can turn this thing around and get on a winning streak," Spencer said.
