The War on I-4 continues for UCF and USF women’s basketball in the American Athletic Conference championship game Thursday night at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. ESPNU will broadcast the 10 p.m. ET game.
No. 2 seed UCF rolled over No. 3 Houston 61-39 in its Wednesday night semifinal, while No. 1 USF eked out a 51-47 victory against No. 4 Tulane early in the evening.
The Knights (16-3, 11-2 AAC) and Bulls (17-3, 13-2 AAC) met twice just last week for to close out their regular seasons. USF won the first outing 65-62, followed by a 58-45 UCF victory two days later.
