UCF to open 2019 season against FAMU

It’s been more than thirty years since UCF last played Florida A&M on the gridiron but the Knights will pick up the series with the Rattlers as part of their 2019 nonconference schedule.

FAMU will travel to Spectrum Stadium for the season opener next year. It is the first time the two programs have faced off since 1987. UCF lost that meeting 19-14 at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee.

At the time, UCF was a Division II member while FAMU played in the Division I-AA (now the Football Championship Subdivision).
