Getting over a torn ACL is not an easy thing to do. Coming back from that injury and immediately showing improvement is even harder, but UCF sophomore tight end Jordan Akins has accomplished those feats.
"Even coming off the tough injury he had last year, he's came back even better actually," UCF redshirt senior offensive lineman Micah Anderson said of Akins. "He's just continuing to work every day, every practice, and I just see him getting better and better and the sky's the limit for him."
Akins, who is in his third season at UCF, has had to deal with numerous adjustments entering the 2016 season.
