After a miserable winless 2015 season, UCF's sophomores have had to wait a long time to earn their first college win. That wait finally came to an end Saturday, when the Knights beat South Carolina State 38-0.
"It felt amazing," sophomore running back Taj McGowan said. "I've been here almost two years and … it felt amazing to get out there and get that done with my team."
UCF's win on Saturday was the school's first victory since Dec. 4, 2014.
"It felt pretty awesome," sophomore linebacker Pat Jasinski said. "I think the whole team is excited about … what we can do this season.
