UCF reserve quarterback Garrett Kruczek working to learn intricacies of complex offense

Sophomore quarterback Garrett Kruczek is ready for the opportunity to play for UCF in the 2016 season.

Kruczek, the son of former UCF head coach Mike Kruczek, played for Copiah-Lincoln Community College last year before joining the Knights as a preferred walk-on early this year.

Kruczek talked with the Orlando Sentinel about the UCF's offense and the team's coaching staff.

Question: What are some of the most important things that you've learned from your dad?

Answer: "He's always been my quarterback coach, you know, from time I was small until now and [quarterbacks] coach [Mario] Verduzco has done a great job with me, tuning up things that I didn't know about the game.
