UCF reportedly is in line to make the case it should be admitted to the Big 12 Conference.
Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby will conduct video conferences with 18 schools that have expressed interest in joining the league, ESPN reported Friday citing anonymous sources.
A UCF spokesman declined to comment about the video interviews, deferring any questions to the Big 12.
USF, Cincinnati, Houston, BYU, UConn, Memphis, Colorado State, Boise State, Tulane, Temple, East Carolina, SMU, New Mexico, Northern Illinois, San Diego State, Arkansas State and Air Force are the schools joining UCF going through the video interview process, ESPN's Brett McMurphy reported Friday.
