UCF receiver Tre Nixon is the latest Knight to land on a preseason football watch list after the redshirt senior was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list Thursday. The honor is presented to the top receiver in college football.
He joins safety Richie Grant (LOTT Trophy, Bednarik Award) and quarterback Dillon Gabriel (Davey O’Brien Award), who have all earned spots on preseason award watch lists.
Nixon was the team’s second-leading receiver in 2019 with 49 catches for 830 yards and seven touchdowns. He had 15 receptions of at least 20 — the third-most plays of 20+ yards by any player on the team.
