UCF assistant football coaches Jeff Lebby (quarterbacks) and Willie Martinez (defensive backs) surprised a quartet of Orlando Jones High underclassmen with scholarship offers Monday.
Two other Jones players already had offers from UCF so that makes six players at Jones, the first time in the Knights Football Bowl Subdivision history they have offered six players from the same school. Jones head coach Elijah Williams said there are still likely more to come.
UCF is close to starting another local pipeline. It already has a connection established with Sanford Seminole High. Current team members sophomore receiver Gabe Davis and redshirt sophomore cornerback Bam Moore are both from Seminole, and the Knights have recent commitments from Davis’ brother 2020 tight end Jordan Davis and 2020 receiver Zion Jackson.
