Tucker is reuniting with former Arkansas State coach Blake Anderson, who was hired to lead the Aggies on Dec. 10 after seven seasons of coaching the Red Wolves. FootballScoop.com was the first to report Tucker’s departure, which was later confirmed by the Orlando Sentinel.
He was part of Anderson’s staff at Arkansas State for three seasons (2013-15), where he coached receivers and running backs.
Tucker joined Josh Heupel’s staff in December 2017 after two seasons as running backs coach at Maryland. He was elevated to passing game coordinator in 2019 before being promoted to co-offensive coordinator in 2020 after offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby left to join Lane Kiffin’s staff at Ole Miss.
