New UCF athletics director Terry Mohajir agreed to a five-year deal with a two-year option that pays him a base salary of $795,000, according to a memorandum of understanding obtained by the Orlando Sentinel.
UCF announced Mohajir’s hiring on Tuesday, making him the ninth AD in school history. He replaced Danny White, who left to become athletics director at Tennessee on Jan. 22.
According to the agreement signed on Monday, Mohajir’s salary increases to $825,000 in Year 2, $850,000 in Year 3, $900,000 in Year 4 and $950,000 in Year 5. It’s a substantial raise from his time at Arkansas State, where he made $450,00 in 2019-20.
