The Jets never showed up as the Raiders ran away with the game early
OAKLAND, CA - The Raiders beat the damn breaks off the Jets. We're talking complete obliteration. Ryan Fitzpatrick hurt his thumb and Geno Smith had to fill in, as Bart Scott would say the defense "couldn't stop a nose bleed" as the Raiders ran all over the Jets and Derek Carr sliced and diced the secondary with ease.
Fitzpatrick got hurt on the first drive of the game, he started the drive completing all three of his passes for 21 yards but he failed to slide, and hurt his thumb, as he scrambled 12 yards for a first down.
