“We’ve tried to tell them we’re playing our regular season as of now,” Brown said during a videoconference Tuesday. “So do the best job you can do to prepare as you would normally prepare for us to start on Aug. 6.”
Preseason camp is slated to kick off at the start of the month, with teams taking part in 25 scheduled practices during 29 days. Afterward, Brown and his team travel to Orlando to take on UCF at Spectrum Stadium on Friday, Sept. 4.
“Is there a chance it will not happen? Sure, but we’ll know more by the end of July.
