As a college football quarterback, Scott Frost won a national championship by running the Nebraska option.
As a college football offensive coordinator, he rose to top of the NCAA statistical rankings by running the Oregon spread.
But now that he's UCF's new head coach, he has a message for state recruits and local fans: His no-huddle, pedal-to-the-metal offense was built for the State of Florida.
"I didn't want to leave Oregon for a place where I couldn't get the same type of players that made us successful at Oregon," Frost said in his introductory news conference on Wednesday.
