Football fans can get an early preview of the season from first-year UCF coach Josh Heupel who will headline the school’s Countdown to Kickoff luncheon set for Thursday, Aug. 16 at CFE Arena.
Heupel will be joined by first-year school president Dr. Dale Whittaker in the annual event which coincides with the start of the fall season for the football, soccer, volleyball and cross country teams.
Knights fans will be able to interact with current members of the football team during the event.
UCF is coming off its remarkable 13-0 season, one in which the team captured the American Athletic Conference Championship and a win over Auburn in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
