As a child, Terry Mohajir grew up fascinated by the tales of medieval knights, including the Knights of the Round Table. His interest followed him into adulthood, with television shows such as Game of Thrones capturing his attention.
So, in a way, it was fitting Mohajir was introduced as UCF’s new athletics director Wednesday a few feet away from the school’s mascot, Knightro.
“I absolutely love the name the Knights,” Mohajir said. “More important, I love what Knights represent. … For us, in my mind, to work or be recruited here, you must have those types of characteristics: leadership, strength, integrity, loyalty, faith, compassion and sacrifice.
