UCF coach Johnny Dawkins is excited highly touted sophomore forward C.J. Walker received a waiver from the NCAA that makes him immediately eligible to play for the Knights during the 2020-21 basketball season.
He will be the first five-star recruit to ever play at UCF when the season tips off Saturday. Walker arrived as a summer transfer after playing his freshman season at Oregon. He was recruited out of Oak Ridge High, where he was named the 2018-19 Orlando Sentinel Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 15.8 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.8 blocked shots as a senior.
