Tom Dahlin/Viking Update
The Minnesota Vikings defensive line is getting thinner with Sharrif Floyd joining Everson Griffen as non-participants Wednesday, with Adrian Peterson and Matt Asiata limited at running back.
Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd joined Everson Griffen (illness) and Justin Trattou (foot) as the defensive linemen not participating in Wednesday’s practice, and RB Adrian Peterson was limited with a finger injury.
Floyd was out Wednesday with knee and ankle injuries suffered in Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Griffen is expected back this week but was undergoing some tests in what head coach Mike Zimmer hoped would be the last hurdle before his best pass-rushing defensive lineman returns to work.
