My five hottest takes from the sports weekend:
1. Everett Golson would have been better off signing with Gators instead of Seminoles: Think about it, when Golson was transferring from Notre Dame, UF was said to be one of the schools he was considering, but instead he chose FSU. If he’d signed with Florida, he’d likely be the starting quarterback right now and UF’s offense wouldn’t be nearly as pathetic as the unit we’ve seen in the last three games against Florida Atlantic, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Likewise, the Seminoles would have been better off, too, if they hadn’t experimented with Golson for teh first half of the season and instead had started Sean Maguire from the beginning.
