Former UCF center Joey Grant is on cutting edge of virtual recruiting | Commentary

Can you believe it wasn’t even 10 years ago when former UCF center Joey Grant was a senior at Lake Brantley High School, where he was mailing out rudimentary highlight DVDs to college coaches in an effort to get recruited?

He is the up-and-coming CEO of a sophisticated, cutting edge search engine that is quickly becoming a football recruiting version of Google meets Zillow.

The website is called GMTM.com, it’s being aggressively backed by Silicon Valley venture capitalist money and bills itself as the most comprehensive, computerized athlete discovery engine in the world. It’s been endorsed on social media by the likes ESPN football analyst Adam Schefter and former Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer, who is a major player in developing elite-level high school QBs.
