FORT WORTH, Texas –– The Davey O'Brien Foundation has announced the 35 quarterbacks named to the Davey O'Brien QB Class of 2020. Tulsa's Zach Smith was selected to the list now eligible as an official candidate to win the 2020 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award.
Smith, a 6'3" senior from Grandview, Texas, as completed 60.5 percent of his passes for 1,266 yards and 10 TDs for a 139.1 passing efficiency in six games this season.
He has led Tulsa in 3 second-half comebacks leading Tulsa to 22 second-half points at #11 UCF, 31 second-half points against ECU and 21 second-half points against #19 SMU.
