The University of Tulsa women's tennis team was named an ITA All-Academic Team as announced by Intercollegiate Tennis Association after posting a 3.50 grade point average as a team during the 2015-16 season. In order to be eligible for the team award, the program must have a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above on a 4.00 scale.
Four student-athletes received ITA Scholar-Athlete status with grade point averages of 3.50 or above. Marcelina Cichon, Mahitha Dadireddy, Renata Kuricova and Saana Saarteinen were awarded ITA Scholar-Athlete status while the team finished the year with a 3.
