Tulsa's Varsity 8+ advanced to the Grand Final, but the race was canceled due to inclement weather at the Doc Hosea Invitational on Sunday afternoon in Cherry Hill, N.J. TU's 2nd Varsity 8+ and Varsity 4+ boats advanced to the Third Final, which were also not raced.
"The team showed some resilience in the weather conditions this weekend with only being able to race in the Heats," Interim Head Coach Olivia Staff said. "The Varsity 8+ put up a great time their first time down the course to make it into the Grand Final.
