ORLANDO — Tulsa went on a 22-3 run in the first half and led by as much as 15 points, but UCF shot 50-percent in the second half to rally for a 64-62 win on Saturday afternoon at CFE Arena.
DaQuan Jeffries led the way with 15 points and nine rebounds for Golden Hurricane (12-7, 2-4), who scored 23 fast-break points and shot 40-percent in the contest. Sterling Taplin added 14 points.
Meanwhile, B.J. Taylor led the Knights (14-3, 4-1) with 15 points and Collin Smith scored all 13 of his points in the second half.
