Tulsa's Varsity 4+ and 2nd Varsity 8+ boats both finished ahead of Sacramento State and Miami on Sunday morning at the Lake Natoma Invitational in Gold River, Calif.
"It was good to race this group of crews this weekend," Head Coach Kevin Harris said. "Our team learned a ton throughout the weekend. It was tough to drop the Varsity 8+ race to a conference foe in Sacramento State, but we will race them again at the American Athletic Conference Championships next month. It was also good to see the 2nd Varsity 8+, which was behind all race, push through and finish first.
