Tulsa's won both the 1,500m run and 5,000m run events at the American Athletic Conference Championships on Sunday at the USF Track and Field Stadium in Tampa, Fla. earned a silver medal in the 1,500m run, TU's 4x100m relay team was second and was third in the 5,000m run.
Throughout the three-day event, (3 - 3,000m steeplechase), (1 – 10,000m) and (3 - 10,000m) earned The American all-conference honors on the women's side, while (2 – 4x100m), (2 – 1,500m), (1 – 1,500m; 1 – 5,000), (2 – 4x100m), (3 – 5,000m), (2 – 4x100m) and (2 – 4x100m) earned honors on the men's side.
