TEMPE, Ariz. – The University of Tulsa women's tennis duo of juniors Martina Okalova and Vera Ploner were slotted at No. 10 in the latest Oracle ITA collegiate doubles rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The placing comes as a result from the tandem's 6-2 record at the No. 1 spot thus far into the dual season under head coach Dean Orford. Including the fall, the duo has recorded five ranked wins as a team.
In fall 2018, the duo became the fourth in school history to win the doubles title at the ITA Central, while begin the fifth time in TU history a Golden Hurricane duo has won the the title.
