TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Tulsa women's tennis doubles tandem of Martina Okalova and Vera Ploner was ranked fourth in the Oracle ITA Doubles Collegiate Tennis Rankings, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The placing comes after a productive fall season under head coach Dean Orford. Ploner and Okalova rounded out the fall slate with a 12-2 mark in doubles matches this fall.
The duo became the fourth in school history to win the doubles title at the ITA Central Regional, while being the fifth time in TU all-time a Golden Hurricane duo has won the title.
