CHARELSTON, S.C. – On Thursday afternoon, The University of Tulsa women's tennis team defeated College of Charleston in a 7-0 decision at the College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriots Point. The No. 23 Golden Hurricane improves to 15-2 overall, while College of Charleston falls to 12-6 overall.
TU's No. 79 doubles team Rongrong Leenabanchong and Martha Matoula (No. 2) defeated Helena Nyikos and Diana Colen, 6-2, to take a 1-0 double point lead. College of Charleston's Mara Argyiou and Katherine Schofield (No. 1) defeated Ksenia Laskutova and Renata Kuricova in a 6-2 decision to tie the double point at 1-1.
