Tulsa men's soccer players Alex Meinhard and Mariano Fazio were named as the American Athletic Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, by the conference office.
Meinhard recorded both goals for Tulsa to give the Golden Hurricane a 2-1 win over #15 SMU last week. Meinhard scored his sixth goal of the season as he drilled in shot from the top left corner of the box into the lower right corner of the goal at the 19:36 mark. He then netted the game-winning goal, his fifth of the season, at the 80:41 mark.
