ORLANDO, Fla. – Tulsa senior Majed Kilani dropped his NCAA Singles Championship opening round matchup to No. 36-ranked Keegan Smith of UCLA, 6-2, 6-2, on Monday at the USTA National Campus.

Despite the loss, the senior wraps up a historic career for the Golden Hurricane. The decorated Tunisia native earned 70 singles wins, three-all conference honors and two NCAA singles appearances during his time in Tulsa.

In the first frame, Kilani dropped an early break before holding his next serve to trail 2-1 to Smith.
