VIERA, Florida –– Lilly Thomas sits in a three-way tie for second place at the Columbia Classic after turning in a two-round score of 2-under par 142 Sunday at the par-72, 6,383-yard Duran Golf Club.
Thomas had an opening round 74 then shot six strokes better in the afternoon for a score of 68. In second round action, Thomas birdied six holes and her only blemish was a two-over score on the par-5, 475-yard 15th hole.
As a team, the Hurricane is in sixth place with a 594 total in a field that features five teams ranked among the nation's top 30.
