Sophia Camara and Lucy Coleman earned a silver medal in the Lightweight 2x at the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Lightweight National Championship on Sunday afternoon. The event, which was schedule to be raced at Mercer Lake in Princeton, N.J., was moved to Lake Carnegie, which is Princeton's home course and 20 minutes from the original scheduled site.
The race was not official as the IRA had canceled the race due to poor weather conditions, but the coaches voted to move the Grand Final to Lake Carnegie.
The Golden Hurricane duo turned in a time of 7:52.
